WELCOME to the Instructional Materials Review website! This website complements the Standards Toolkit, a series of Hawaii Department of Education publications for teachers and other educators to use in implementing the Hawaii Content and Performance Standards II (HCPS II) at the school and classroom levels. The purpose of this site is to share reviews of instructional materials that have been examined relative to their alignment to HCPS II standards, educational research, and other criteria.

It is hoped that these reviews will assist schools and teachers in selecting instructional materials that are in consonance with standards-based teaching and learning and are focused on student achievement.
